Greetings from Dixie!
Duke Gardens, Spring
Dear Family and Friends:
I have compiled a few photographs of me in North Carolina to try to give you a flavor for my new life and Southern Lifestyle.
Enjoy. You are always close. Click on an image to view an enlargement. You may need to disable your pop-up blocker.
Another friend from church (last of the "girl"
pictures) have done the NC Triangle Race For
The Cure to raise money for Breast Cancer
Research (dear to my heart). This year she
brought along her adopt 2-year-old son and I
experienced fatherhood for 3 hours.
I am the Financial Secretary for my church.
This is where I enter the weekly offerings in the
computer. I also print out statements every 6
months and write contribution Thank You letters.
Where I get my bike serviced. The employees
know me by name. This sign appeared in the
window after Hurricane Katrina. Finally a company
got it right!
My position on Sundays about 11:50 AM
EST, 8:50 AM PST. My knees have gotten
fairly strong.
The two church pastors
Young Professionals church group (started
since I started going there) serving dinner to
Duke students after their evening service. The
pastor is the man in the tie. The second guy
from the left, Marc, and I have become very
close.
New office space. Quite nice. We moved to a
nicer facility in May.
Shodor Staff and Interns Summer 2003 Old office facility.
